This policy provides
compensation in case of accidental death or injury caused by external, violent and visible
means to the insured person. There are four types of covers Table A, B, C & D. Table D
covers only "Death" (accidental) and the premium is as low as Rs.45/- per a lakh
of sum insured per annum. Table C, in addition to death, covers loss of limbs/eyes and
permanent total disability. Table B in addition to C, covers permanent partial disability.
Table A is the widest cover available, which in addition to Table B, provides for weekly
