1. Students who have passed the two year Pre-University Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as optional subjects of the Karnataka Pre-University Board or any other examination recognized as eqivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the first year .The minimum percentage of marks in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics taken together must be 50% for General Category and 35 % for SC/ST/others.
 
2. Students who have passed the B.Sc degree examination (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) of Bangalore University or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the first year in various branches of Engineering.
