Introduction

a) A deposit where the principal amount invested is not repatriable. The interest
    earned on the deposit is fully repatriable.
b) In order to open an NRNR deposit, you would need to credit the account either
    through foreign currency sources or from an NRE/FCNR account with another
    bank in India.
c) The interest earned on the deposit is exempt from India Income tax.
