Application for discharge of trade and industrial affluent.:- |
The owner lessee
or occupier of the trade or industrial premises who desires to discharge the trade or
industrial effluent directly or indirectly into the board sewer shall make an aplpication,
giving particulars of trade or industrial waste along with the following details:-

1.
Nature of trade or industry
2. Volume of waste likely to be discharged per day
3. Maxium hourly flow.
4. Period of discharge.
5. Type of waste acidity -its P.H. alkalinity-its P.H.
6. Type of suspended solids (M.g/Litre) |
a.
Organic solids (Mg/Litre)
b.Total solids(Mg/Litre) |
7.
Volatile Matter(Percentage)
8. Bio-chemical oxygen demand.
9. Colour of waste.
10.Toxic components of waste |
a.
Phenol
b. Cyanide
c. Chromium
d. other components
e. Temperature of waste before it enters the sewers |
Every such
application of discharge of trade into the board sewer shall be accompanied by a deposit
of up to Rs5000 to serve as an advance payment to take up analysis of the waste to
ascertain as to whether the waste is within the permissible limits, the actual amount in
each case being determined by the Sanitary Engineer.
