This is an umbrella
policy offering various covers under one single policy. There are 10 sections offering
cover for your buildings, contents, electrical/electronic equipments, bicycle, personal
accident, baggage etc. Sec. I covers building (if owned) and contents against fire and
allied perils like riot, strike, malicious damage, terrorism, flood, earthquake, explosion
etc. for a nominal premium of Rs. 50 per a lakh of sum insured.
Sec II covers the contents against burglary, housebreaking, theft & larceny. Section
III takes care of your valuables like jewellary, camera, watches, etc. The cover is all
risks |

includes chain snatching. Under Section V we cover breakdown of domestic appliances like
your fridge, washing machine, mixie etc. The premium is only Rs.25/- per 10,000/- . Under
section VI we cover your TV/VCR/VCP against various risks including breakdown. You can
also cover your baggage against loss/damage due to fire/theft/accidents during tour. Other
sections provide cover for Personal Accident, Plate glass, Workman Compensation, bicycle
etc.
There are section discounts if you opt for more than 4/6 sections. |
