Following proposals would be
implemented to improve the performance of the state owned public sector undertakings.
Concept of
MoU between the Government and PSU would be encouraged. The MoU would set annual targets
of performance and the assistance and support that would be forthcoming from the
government to achieve the same.
Suitable
awards for efficient management of PSUs would be instituted.
