Kundan Shah is one Director in the Hindi film Industry who
makes films which are close to his heart and does not look at the present trends of film
making. His, Janne Bhi Do Yaro and Kabhi Naa Kabhi were well crafted and were successful
at the box office, despite being different. Now Kundan Shah has made a film, which he
calls a romantic, musical, love story with a tinge of mystery attached to it.
Incidentally, Kundan Shan’s Kya Kehna has also been released last week and has had an
average fare at the Box office.

The songs for "Hum To Mohabbat Karega" written
by late Majrooh Sultanpuri, who died on the eve of the film’s release, has already
become popular. It looks as if Bobby and Karishma make a good pair in the film. It is
the story revolving around a love affair between a waiter and a popular TV reporter.
Synopsis:
Raju (played by Bobby Deol), a waiter at Sanman Hotel is in love with Geeta Kappor
(Karshima), a big time crime reported at channel 2001, Geetha does not give a damn to
Raju’s overtures. But Raju persists with his love.
One day, Raju opens the door and finds Geeta at his doorstep asking for him. Geeta
is investigating a murder case and Raju is the waiter who served the dead man his last
meal. Geetha has come to him hoping that he could have some clue about the killer. Raju
can’t believe his fortune. Though he knows nothing about the killer, Raju begins to
lie, faking to be an eyewitness to the murder, to be close to and her to stop her from
leaving. He realizes much later that his goose is cooked. She wants to interview him on
camera. One more lie follows, to escape the interview, but Geeta is hell bent on taking
him to the studio, Raju falls into the trap of his own making, as Geeta charms him into
giving the interview. The roller coaster ride begins. The Mafia who are behind the murder
are watching this interview, they want him silenced. The police reach the TV studio and
take him away. Raju lies again to the police, about the description of the killer, at the
behest of Geeta. Unwittingly he gives the description of his best friend. Raju’s
troubles starts multiplying. The mafia is after him, his friend is in danger, and he
himself is a captive of Geeta’s charisma.
Geeta wants to take the case to a logical conclusion, as there is a possibility of
finding her long last brother Vikram. Since Geeta’s intentions are known to Raju, he
wants to really help her. In the process, both of them become closer and unwittingly even
Geeta starts loving Raju.
Raju has a difficult choice. First he has to make Geeta understand that all that he
said were lies. He should also help Geeta to unravel the mystery. But Geeta comes to know
of Raju’s lies and the shattered girl leaves and begins to hate Raju.
Will Raju realize his dream of marrying Geeta? Who is the murderer? How Raju
convinces Geeta about his true love? For all these answers you have to see the film!
