Jung

"Jung" has been making news recently all for the wrong reasons. There has been press interviews galore from artists, technicians and the producer about some unwarranted controversies that cropped during the making of the film. According to its director Sanjay Gupta and the hero Sanjay Dutt, the film is an incomplete product, as some songs and key sequences were to have been picturised. But the producer says a different story, and says that his distributors were satisfied about the completed product, and he is releasing the film, without compromising on any thing. The director Sanjay Gupta had demanded that his name be removed from the credits, and now the producer has advertised the film as " A film by Satish
Tantlon". In film trade magazines and some interviews published, Sanjay Dutt has told his fans not to see the film, but the producer has an appeal that if not for Sanjay Dutt, the film has to be seen for Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Jackie Shroff and others.

"Jung" is ready and the promos have been featured in many channels. The song "Ayilare Mast Mast ladki" has become a raging hit.

Synopsis:
The story of "Jung" resolves around a seven year old kid, who's fighting for his life. But his battle becomes tougher when his survival is sand witched between the war of law and order of an honest cop and a dreaded criminal.

Sahil (Yash) is a son of an honest police officer Veer (Jackie Shroff) and Naina (Raveena Tandon). It was a very happy settled family until they discover that Sahil has blood cancer. He's has got a rare blood group and needs a bone marrow transplant. Since Sahil is in an advanced stage of cancer,
transplantation is needed to be done immediately, otherwise he is certain to die. Shattered over the revelation of this devastating news, Veer and Naina's only hope is to save their son by finding the match for their son. Veer goes all out to find the match but fails. Time starts to tick away and Sahil's condition begins to get grave.

Fortunately the Doctor treating Sahil manages to find the match, but it is that of the dreaded criminal Balli (Sanjay Dutt), who is already serving life sentence in Jail. Veer initially objects to blood of a dreaded criminal going into his Sahil's veins. But, Naina pleads and Veer also relents after Sahil's condition starts sinking.

Veer visits Balli in jail to request him to donate blood for the Bone marrow, but instead of getting support gets humiliated. Only when Naina goes to plead for his son Balli relents. Balli is taken out of jail under high security for transplant, but in the middle he escapes from the hospital without donating bone marrow.
Balli's intention is to collect his money laundered with Mossa (Saurabh Shukla) and run away from the country with his girl friend Tara (Shilpa Shetty). Sahil's condition goes from bad to worse, even as the police commissioner engages a ruthless police officer named Inspector Khan (Aditya Pnacholi) to nab Balli. Khan promises that he would bring Balli dead or alive.

And Veer's desperation to keep Balli alive to get his bone marrow transplant to his son.
