Rockline Productions has acquired a brand
name in the Kannada film Industry for producing good quality films. In the beginning of
the year the prestigious banner had released "Preetse" with Shivaraj Kumar,
Sonali Bendre and Upendra in the lead, and the film went on to become a blockbuster. The
film has just completed hundred days run in many centers. On the day of the release of
"Preetse", the shooting of the film "Krishna Leele" was started and
the film is now ready for release all around Karnataka. The film is expected to be
released in the first week of May.
"Krishna Leele" is the remake of Tamil Hit "Gokulathil Seethai"
directed by Ahathian, which had Karthik, Manivannan in the main lead. Suvalakshmi from
Bengal was introduced for the first time in this Tamil film which completed more than 175
days. The succes of "Gokulathil Seethai" confirmed that Ahathian has a good
script sense and Karthik is a better performer among all the Tamil artists.
The story of "Krishna Leele" revolves round a wayward son of a big businessman
father, who is encouraged by his own father to spend money and enjoy life in good measure
with wine and woman. A simple and straight forward girl enters his life and the hero is
suddenly attracted to her. But the girl does not reciprocate this love. The hero proves
that he is sincere in his love and in a few days the girl learns that the spoilt rich boy
needed mother's love and father's care, but was not able to get both. Finally, the girl
realises that the boy is a good match for her and gives her consent to marry him.
