"Preetsu Thappenilla" is produced
by G.V.G.Raju who had made a name in Telugu Film Industry by his first film called
"Tholi Prema" which ran for a record 250 days in Andhra Pradesh. The film was
directed by Gunashekhar and had Mega Star Chiranjeevi"s brother Pavan Kalyan as the
hero and Bangalore based girl Keerthi Reddy as the heroine. Now, Raju is remaking the film
in Kannada with Ravichandran as the hero. V.S.Reddy who has made several succesful films
with Ravichandran is the director. Ravichandran has rendered the Music for the film.
Ravichandran is paired with glamorous Rachana who had earlier acted in many films in
Telugu. She was also seen in the Hindi film "Suryavansh" being paired with
Amithabh Bachchan. Rachana is a Bengali girl and she is a multilingual actress having
acted in Oriya, Bengali films before making her foray into Tamil and Telugu films. "
Preetsu Thappenilla" is her first Kannada film.
G.V.G.Raju says that he had made some alterations to the script so as to suit
Ravichandran"s image in the film, but has followed the content of the story
faithfully. "Since Pawan Kalyan was new, there were several sequences in the film to
portray him in a different way. But we are projecting Ravichandran in a different way. It
is the narrative style of the film which had appealed to telugu film audience, and I have
not compromised on that" says Raju. Director V.S.Reddy says that this is his fourth
film with crazy star Ravichandran and he hopes that the film would do well at the Box
office. "The final four to five reels have been outstanding, and the gripping
narration would certainly hold the audience"-says V.S.Reddy.
