Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai is a love triangle
between Arjun (Nakul Kapur), Naina (Aarti Chabria) and Bobby (Kim Sharma). |
|
Arjun is shown to be a small town boy from
Jaisalmer where he lives with his family and dreams of becoming a singer one day. He is
encouraged by his family and relatives but it is only after Naina comes to Jaisalmer as a
tourist that his life changes. Naina sees him as a potential singer and convinces him to
try his luck in Mumbai. Arjun agrees and sets off to Mumbai where he realises that
becoming a singer is an extremely tough job. He struggles a lot trying his luck with
various music directors and all this while he is supported emotionally as well as
financially by Naina and her family. |
|
Soon, there is an interesting twist in the
story as well as in the life of Naina and Arjun when Bobby appears on the scene. She hears
|
Arjun sing and feelsthat she should promote
him. Being the daughter of a tycoon (Dalip Tahil), this job is no big deal for her and
Arjun becomes a star overnight with her help. Meanwhile, Bobby falls in love with Arjun
without him realising this. Arjun is then torn between these two ladies in his life, one
with who he is in love with, and another who is responsible for his career.
Well, true love reigns and Bobby is united with Naina in the end. TAKH has nothing new to
offer story-wise, but the best part of it is one does not have much expectations out of it
and feels good about the show at the end of it. Even though the story has nothing new to
offer, director |

Deepak Anand has certainly given it special treatment which makes
it different from the rest. Nadeem Shravan's music blends beautifully with the sequences.
Most of the songs are good and the numbers like " Chand taare phool shabnam",
"Dil gaya dil gaya", |
|
"Door vadiyon se aa rahi hain" and
"Aankh hain bhari bhari" deserve special mention. Background music by Surendra
Sodhi is also captivating. Dialogues are good. Cinematography by Nirmal Jain is worth
appreciating.
Performance-wise, all are promising. Nakul Kapur performs with ease and makes a decent
debut. He has all the qualities that is required for a newcomer to sustain in Bollywood-
good looks, photogenic, good screen presence, dances and handles stunts with ease. He
needs to work on his dialogue delivery though. Aarti looks good and has made a confident
debut. Kim Sharma performs her bit |
with sincerity and maturity. Others in the
supporting cast like Rati Agnihotri, Dalip Tahil, Raghuvir Yadav and Navnee Parihar are
good as well.
On the whole, Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai is
a good entertainer and can be watched by most... |
