Recipe > Fishy Arvi Pie

Ingredients
750 g rohu fish, deboned and flaked
500 g potatoes, boiled and peeled
250 g arvi boiled and peeled
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves oil
4 large onions, chopped fine
6 green chillies, chopped
tsp garlic paste
2 tsp lemon juice
tsp chilli powder
6 cardamom, powdered
cup breadcrumbs

Method

  1. MASH the potatoes and arvi with a hand blender.
  2. Add the cream, salt, pepper, flour and one tbsp coriander leaves.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Heat oil and saute the onions, green chillies and the garlic paste for a minute.
  5. Add the flaked fish, salt, lemon juice, chilli powder and cardamom powder.
  6. Stir and keep aside.
  7. Spread half of the mashed arvi-potato in a large greased ovenproof dish to cover the base.
  8. Spread the fish mixture evenly over it, followed by the remaining mashed arvi-potato.
  9. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and bake till done.
