Ingredients: |
1 onion, peeled and chopped |
50 g ghee or 30 ml oil |
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks |
1 tbsp ground coriander |
1 tbsp chilli powder |
� tbsp turmeric powder |
250 g frozen green peas |
1 green pepper, seeded and cut into chunks |
4-5 tomatoes, crushed |
Salt to taste |
2 green chillis, cut into quarters |
2 sprigs fresh green coriander leaves, chopped |
120 ml water. |

Method: |
Fry onion in ghee or oil until just tender (2-3 minutes).
Add potatoes and fry for 5-6 minutes. Sprinkle with ground coriander, chilli
powder and turmeric powder.
Mix well and add peas and green pepper.
Stir and add tomato and season with salt.
Add chopped green chilli and fresh coriander.
Add water, cover and cook for 5-6 minutes until potatoes are tender.
The dish should have a thick gravy.
