Recipe > Pan Cake

 

Ingredients:

For filling:

cup maida flour

2 onions

cup gram flour

2 cup sliced palak

cup rava

1 cup sliced cabbage

cup curd

1 cup grated carrot

oil for deep-fry

1 cup bottle gourd

salt to taste

2 spoons cumin seeds

cup butter

cup grated paneer

8-10 green chillies

Pan Cake

 

Method :

  1. Mix all ingredients with salt and some water. Then make thin dosa out of it.

  2. Heat 1 spoon of butter in a pan, add cumin seeds to it.

  3. Add palak and salt to fry.

  4. Add chopped green chillies and pepper to it.

  5. Again add sliced onions, cabbage, carrot, bottle gourd one by one. Fry them.

  6. Take them out when half baked.

  7. Take round faced bread tin and grease it.

  8. Spread pan cake or dosa on it.

  9. Add a layer of palak mixture on it.

  10. Again spread pan cake, palak mixture layer by layer.

  11. Spread butter on each side of bread tin and keep it in oven to bake for 20 minutes.

  12. Then cut into slices as shown in the picture.

  13. Serve it along with chutney or tomato sauce.
