Recipe > Sweet Chappathi

Ingredients
Wheat flour: 2 cups
Salt: � tsp
Jaggery (Vellam): 6 tbsp
Ghee for frying
 

Method

  1. Add water to wheat flour and make it into soft dough.
  2. Make small, round balls of the dough and roll them out into thin rotis.
  3. Spread jaggery on the rotis and fold them into half to resemble a half circle.
  4. Cover the edges by pressing them, so that they do not open easily.
  5. Heat a tawa, place the chappathis and fry them on both sides with ghee. Serve hot.
