Recipe > Sweet Potato Vada

Ingredients
300 grams sweet potatoes
4 spoons fried gram flour
� of grated dry coconut
6 spoon rusk biscuit powder
2 cups sugar
a pinch of salt
oil for deep-fry

Sweet Potato Vada

 

For Filling:
1 cup sugar powder, cashewnuts-raisins-almond-pista(totally � cup), � spoon cardamom powder, � cup milk, ghee.

Method for Filling:
Cook sweet potatoes, peel skin and smash. Add gram flour, � of grated coconut, salt and mix well. Make small balls. Fry raisins and cashewnuts in ghee, mix it with other filling ingredients and grated coconut. Now the filling mixture is ready.

Method :
Tap the sweet potato balls on hand and make a hole at the center. Fill it with 2-3 spoon mixture and close the hole. Roll these balls on a rusk biscuit powder and deep-fry it in oil. Prepare sugar syrup with water and sugar separately. Dip the prepared vadas in the sugar syrup. Garnish with grated coconut after it sucks the entire syrup. Serve it.
