Mrs. Sudha Murthy is the wife of Mr. Narayana Murthy, the CEO of Infosys. Mrs. Murthy can be easily set as an example to most women today. She is extremely talented and has the best of academic records and is still very down-to-earth.
     
Talking about her educational background, she has been a 1st ranker all her life. She had secured the highest marks in SSLC exams, highest marks in BE of all Universities of Engineering in Karnataka and has also received a Gold

Medal for securing 1st rank in MTech of all branches of Engineering. She is a part-time computer-science lecturer. But is best known as a social worker. 
  
She has been contributing to the society through the Infosys Foundation of which she is the founder. She has made serious efforts to ensure that schools in the state have a computer and a library. She has donated many surgical hitech equipments to hospitals in places in Bellary, Bijapur and Hubli. She is also actively involved in setting up the Leprosy rehabilation camp at Gulbarga, Cancer Hospital annex at Kanchi, air-conditioning of the burns ward at Victoria Hospital in Bangalore etc. She has built many veterinary hospitals in the rural and backward areas. Moreover, she has also been instrumental in educating many poor but brilliant students of Karnataka and has donated innumerable computers to schools in the rural areas. She is known to have donated huge amounts towards construction and renovation of school buildings.
 
Last but not least, Mrs Murthy is also known for her writing skills. She has written many travellogues, technical and educative books and also novels. Mrs. Murthy does not employ any domestic help at home and believes in doing all the household chores herself. Isn't she a perfect example of an ideal woman, after all?
