"Indra Dhanush" has
generated a lot of curiosity among the Kannada film viewers, because this is the second
directorial venture of Music Director V.Manohar. His debut film "Oh, Mallige"
was a big hit and Manohar could not take up direction, because he was very busy as a Music
Director. After toiling hard to find a suitable story that would suit hatrick hero
Shivaraj Kumar, V.Manohar has come up with a good script, which is not only entertaining
but also has rich production values. The film is produced by Shailendra Babu, well known
Producer and Distributor.
Though Director V.Manohar has not given any details about the film, the sources close to
the studio say that the film is a murder mystery. Shivaraj Kumar plays the role of an
architect and is paired with Abhisarika, a Mumbai based model. V.Manohar who has the habit
of changing the names of his film's heroines, has rechristened the name of Monal as
Abhisarika. Monal is the cousin of well known actress Simran who is breaking grounds in
Tamil and Telugu film Industry. Another girl Akankshi was selected by Manohar after a
photo session. She is from Indore.
"Indra Dhanush" was DTS recording and there is also the additional attraction of
graphics. The film has been shot in the outdoor locales of Goa and Mangalore. Sundaranath
Suvarna is the Cameraman. The audio cassette of the songs of the film has been released
and is reported to be well received. The film is slated for release on March 31.
