Here is a fairy tale of 21st
century. It is a good mix of Sound of Music, Home Alone and
Lion King, with special Indian touch. This high budget movie is undoubtedly, a
good family entertainer. Especially kids should not miss this.
|
Siddant Rai (Rishi Kapoor), Owner of property worth 2000 crore lives
in a palatial bungalow with his 3 children. He loves his children more than his life. His
children are somehow successful in chasing away all the teachers appointed by him. This
part of the story reminds us of the English classic Sound of Music. Finally he
gets Anna (Kajol) from an orphanage. She wins over the three and becomes one in their
family. |
|
While Kajol is on the way to their place, Shekar (Ajay Devgan)
instantly falls for her presuming that she comes from a very rich family. He is a thief
who has perfected the art of lying and pretending. With great difficulty he wins
over |
Annas heart. When their wedding is finalized, he
steals a finger ring from a shop for his bride. For his bad luck he is caught and put
behind bars. Anna is totally shattered by this and she gets back to her place to recover
from the tragedy.
|
|
The
happiness of the family comes to a halt when Rishi Kapoor is murdered by his business
partners who are their relatives. They come and take over the property and start
ill-treating the children. When Shekar comes to know about this, to rescue the children he
comes in disguise of their erstwhile Raju Chacha. |
|
|
Acting of all the actors is impressive including that
of the children. Sanjay Dutt looks good in
Special appearance. The duo Shekar and Johnny Lever provide good entertainment. Music
scored by Jatin-Lalit is good. Photography by Nirmal Jani is excellent. Songs shot with
technical special effects and animation are enjoyable. But for its length and some
romantic scenes, which look out |
