Yaarige Saluthe Sambala |
The Kannada film Industry is now very
keen on some medium or small budget film to hit the jackpot in the Box office, as it will
give a definite turnaround to the film industry's stability and economy. If the film trade
is banking on any one film, then it certainly is 'Yaarige Saluthe Sambala'. Which is
presented by veteran producer B.N.Gangadhar for S.D.M. Films. The reason is simple.
'Yaarige Salutthe Sambala' is the remake of a tamil film 'Virulukketha Veekkam' which went
on to become a roaring hit in the Tamil industry. The success story is being repeated in
Andhra Pradesh also, and the Telugu version is going so strong that it has already run for
100 days and is also expected to complete its silver jubilee in several main centers.
'Yaarigbe Saluthe Sambala' revolves around the problems of three middle class families
with their office going husbands and housewives. Each family has a problem relevant to
their life styles; one thing common is that all of them face financial problems. There is
some lack of understanding between the couples in the three families. These couples notice
their happy neighbors enjoying a harmonious relationship and come to realize that it is
happiness that they should seek and not wealth or riches.
Shashi Kumar is paired with Suhasini for the first time in the film. Anu Prabhakar, who
has acted in many films as the heroine, is paired with Mohan an upcoming artist who has
been given a big break in this film. He has also written the dialogues for the film.
Karibasavaiah and Umashri are the third couple.
According to the producer, Anant Nag is playing quite a different role in the film. The
Audio Casettes of the film have already been released.
The film is supposed to have a large dose of comedy, which flows through out the narration
of the film, and some sentimental sequences. Gangadhar feels that the film may appeal to
the family audience.
