There are no Lodging facilities in Malpe. Since Udupi is nearer
it is preferred that a stay can be made at Udupi.
We Would wish to suggest that you visit St.Mary's Island here which is one of the most
Scenic places in South Canara. It is one hour boat ride which itself is wonderful. Start
off in the early morning at 8.00 AM with full stomach and packed lunch ( there is nothing
there for hungry people). The last return trip is at 5.00 PM. Take the last but one trip
to ensure you dont get stranded at the island that night. |
