Pitch a tent

Some of the most scenic ones are in Coorg and Chickmagalur, while the Railway Line Trek from Sakleshpur to Kukke Subramanya is truly spectacular. Other popular trekking routes include Mullavanagiri and Kodachadri. Though not as popular as in the West, camping is slowly catching on and service providers are scrambling to meet this demand. Some of the properties of the state-run jungle lodges and resorts offer camping. Other sites include Sakleshpur, South Coorg and Sharavathi valley. Activities which can be done alongside include mountain biking and waterfall trekking.
