True to it's name, this upbeat music school offers courses in both Indian and Western instruments, providing students with hands-on, interactive lessons in the piano, guitar, keyboard, drums, tabla and violin as well as Hindustani and Carnatic vocal training. Students can choose between a lighter, hobby-oriented course of 2 years and a rigorous 8 year programme that enables them to complete all grades in the instrument of their choice. The staff at Urban Raga train students to appear for internationally accredited music exams, so that they have the option of obtaining competent certification.
