Consider any object-beit, a thing, a jewel, or even a pot made out of mud. Do you think it can be made without any wastage of the raw material at all?

Do you think anyone would manufacture something for you free of cost?

We have to pay money anything that we need... Nothing comes free!

‘No Making charges'

With the amount of intricacy involved in making valuable gold and diver jewelry, do you think any gold smith makes ornaments without charging (making Charge) for what he makes?

So if someone is giving you ‘zero’ charge" for any of these, he must collect from you in 'some other form', say on quality, or high charges on other things, or collecting the price of metal for the stones in it, or 'value addition charges', etc.

In conventional methods ot soldering jewelry, a material was being used, locally called ‘Pudi’ or Tankam’, which has been replaced by KDM in more recent methods- implies KDM is only a soldering material, and it has nothing to do with the purity of the gold.

KDM is the short form of a type of soldering alloy in which 'cadmium' is used. KDM is just like metal glue used while soldering in the process of making the gold jewelry. It is not a type of gold.
