D.Ramanaidu is a producer with a Midas touch. He has produced
films in many languages including Kannada. His 102nd film is being made in Kannada with
Shivaraj Kumar as the hero and V.S.Reddy as the director. The film had a quiet Muhurath in
Bangalore recently and Kannada film Industry's patriarch Dr. Raj Kumar held the clap for
the film. |
Rama Naidu is a big name in the film industry today. You can see him doing a film in
Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Calcutta all in the same time. His achievement
of producing more than 100 films was amply documented in the recent Guineess book of world
records. He has grown in stature ever since he made his first film in association with the
then prestigious Vijaya Pictures of the legendary B.Nagireddy.
Then the films were produced under the banner of Vijaya Suresh combines. His first film
was the most succesful "Ramudu Bheemudu" with the late matinee idol NTR as the
hero. The film was remade into Tamil, Hindi and Kannada and all the films proved their
success in the Box office.

he has produced many films in many languages like Telugu, Tamil, Hindi , Kannada and
Bengali. He is also a well known distributor in Andhra Pradesh with his wide distribution
network sprea d all around Andhra Pradesh. His state of the art "Rama Naidu
Studio" in Hyderabad is the best in the country today, where a Producer can just come
with the money and take the print out after the shooting work and post production work. He
is also building another State of the Art Studio.
As a Producer D.Ramanaidu has notched up success which is unprecedented. His achievement
beats the law of averages that is normally seen in the film Industry. More than eighty
percent of the films produced by him are hits, and because of the large distribution
network Rama Naidu has been able to recover a major share of his investment in Telugu
films. His name itself carries prestige and his production company-Suresh Productions is a
byword for Quality. He has a good brand value. Rama Naidu is credited with a record of
having introduced many artists and technicians to the Telugu and Hindi film Industry. He
has a midas touch and that is the reason why many artists, writers and technicians would
love to be a part of his films. He is also involved in many philanthrophic activities and
keeps a share of his earnings to be given to charity. He is constructing a housing complex
for his employees. He has purchased a 10 acre plot where he wants to start a
"Vruddhashrama".
Ramanaidu"s son Venkatesh is a Super Star in Telugu films. His another son Suresh
Babu looks after production and distribution network of Suresh Banner. Recently Ramanaidu
made a foray into Politics, and he has been elected from the Bapatla Constituency on a
Telugu Desam ticket with a bumper margin.
