Directions in Shankarapuram are sometimes given with this little eatery as a landmark. Once a real hole-in-the-wall, BCB (as it is affectionately referred to as) has undergone a bit of an expansion. But even in its refurnished avatar, the eatery is still miles away from the bigger restaurants of its ilk. If you are a newbie, follow your nose and you will land up in the midst of a dense crowd heartily tucking into idli-vada, doused with watery chutney - which is the specialty here. Regulars can easily run through many tumblers of this lip-smacking chutney! You will even see the odd person having chow-chow bhath, but that's about all there is to the place. Be warned: BCB is so popular that you may not even find standing space at times.
