The Café, an entrepreneurial venture of Dr. Manjunath, a reputed ophthalmologist based at Jamaica and his wife Devika, a Hotel Management Graduate…a dream to bring Jamaica to Bangalore…all of 15,585kms!

As you are ushered into the foyer of the Café your First 'feel is the 'chill'! From the blistering heat outside .. to the cool environs of the cafe, your mind is already telling you "Hey! Let s chill…. mate".
What hits your eye is the brightly lit counter, with various blends of Coffee / Tea neatly arranged on one side and the smiling bartenders on the other! As you comfortably settle in the plush feather sofa and look around... you notice a huge chandelier with different array of shades.The central corona of blue lights that is wound by wooden pieces compliments the light and reminds you of a cruise and a ship deck! Now the raisan d'etre of, JamayCafe…Bob Marley! You will find pictures of him adorning the walls. Knick-knacks, curios: pictures are strategically placed to provide that 'carefree1 feel!

You begin flipping through the menu card., and you find Bob Marley all over! The mood is set for ordering coffee! The Espresso Vibrations have the usual combination's: Espressos / Lattes / Mochas and the like. In the specialties (hot / iced/blended) the first choice is Reggae Rhythm! Depending on your mood / time you are sure to drool over this espresso with gourmet almond, raspberry syrup topped with whipped cream! The USP of JamayCafe is that you can order Coffee/ Tea with Jamaican or Indian flavors. Jamaican coffee beans that are grown in Blue Mountains of Jamaica are world famous! Each coffee bean is individually hand-picked and is unique aroma /flavor comes from the volcanic soil and sun-kissed Caribbean mountains. God's own coffee!
If you are a Tea lover, then you have a varied choice of Jamaican / Indian / Exotic ones! The usuals: Mint / Ginger / Lemon / Honey... But, Sarsaparilla takes the cake! This is basically an herbal tea with a fruity tinge, which will linger for long!
Jamaican treats for your palate!
The starters here startle you! Jkkles Fritters Reggae Jerk Rolls. Jammin Fries! Names that take you to the Caribbean! Jkkles are made of maida flour with cornflakes as a stuffing! The dip that comes along with these treats is made from special Jamaican spices, far those with sweet-tooth... is the mayonnaise dip and for that ‘hot’ feel…go for the paprika dip! Fritters / Jimmin Fries are all corn-based. Reggae Jerk Rolls are a must try! All these eats are both Veg and Non-Veg. The specialty of these treats is the pure Jamaican spice known as JERK! JimayCafe’s another highlight is the various milkshakes that fill and make you yean for more! Blueberry milkshake / Chunkey Monkey milkshake may tempt you to try... try I did... was Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake! The peanut butter specialty comes from Jamaica and the taste is just.. but awesome! Lastly the most popular mock tail is Jamaican Pinacolada! This mock tail with a blend of pineapple and coconut is to be sipped with Jamaican cashew! (The cashew is from India... but the spices are from jamican!)

As I walk out. my eyes go back to that Bob Marley portrait! The lines 'Quench me when I'm thirsty' from his ‘Stir Up single is apt for this ‘jammin' place.. JamayCafe! Ya Maaan!
