Important Projects by KIADB

In the last few years KIADB has taken on several prestigious projects like: The Bangalore-Mysore Express Highway Project

The project is the first of its kind in the country and involves construction of 110 kms. Of Express Highway with the establishment of 5 townships enroute.

Airports
The Board is associated with Airports at Devanahalli (International), Hassan, Mysore, Gulbarga and Hubli.

GROWTH CENTERS
For balanced industrial development in the State, the Government, through KIADB, has set up Growth Centres at Dharwad and Hassan. A third Growth Centre has been established at Raichur by KSIIDC.

Comprehensive infrastructure facilities - primary facilities like power, water, roads, transport, telephone, housing and secondary facilities like education, health, restaurants, entertainment - are provided in the Growth Centres. The Centres are well connected by road and rail to important places in the country and receive the highest levels of government subsidies.
