A culinary legacy standing proudly for over 30 years started by Mr. B.S Chadha and family, Tandoor has dazzled many palettes with their North Indian cuisine. Located on the busy MG Road the restaurant stands unassuming amidst the bustling shops and city skyways. Enter and you will be transported to the glorious era of Mughlai Art. Hand drawn frescoes, collector's paintings, and cream coloured pillars, basking in the amber glow of dainty chandeliers are a welcoming change. Understated table settings with a view of the tandoor oven, from a comfortable distance adds the finishing touch to the decor.

The menu hosts a variety of regional specialties form the North, from the tandoor oven, savour the popular favourites, - the malai kebab and sheek kabab. The malai kebab is soft and succulent with a crispy bite, and the sheek kebab is infused with flavours having a dominant note of chilly and pepper.

The house-specials are Tandoor's signature Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani. Unapologetically authentic, the Butter Chicken is mild and creamy, taking the natural tang of fresh tomatoes. The Daal Makhani is rich yet light paying ode to the delicately flavoured lentils that have been churned for a long time, paired with their silky parathas. The dessert section craves your attention with a selected few, but the Badam Keer served in delicate cutlery is a sure crowd pleaser without leaving you over stuffed.

Tandoor specializes in outdoor catering and special dinner packages including beverages, and is one of the oldest fine dining restaurants in the city. Host parties in their private dining area which can accommodate upto 20 people, and never be bogged down with parking on a busy night owing to their ample parking space.
