Introduction (IT Policies: Employment)

The IT Sector provides vast employment opportunities. It is estimated that in the year 2010, the potential for employment in Karnataka in the IT Sector alone will reach 10 lakhs.

It is proposed to meet the demand for professionals by organizing Human Resource Development schemes. These schemes will be implemented to train people at different levels like unemployed graduates, engineering college students, college students, polytechnics, ITI as well as schools.
