Lash Tips:
  

1. Curl with lash curler before mascara.

2. Stroke on color root to ends in upward motions

3. Your color: A black-brown or dark brown shade flatters most. Black looks best only on deepest brunettes.

4. Plum or Navy Blue look great on dark lashes. Light lashes should use black-brown or brown first, then finish with a coat of plum or navy.

5. Save special-effects bright mascaras for evening.

6. Promote growth with a smidge of vaseline or lash conditioner overnight.

7. Have a pro custom-fit and trim your false eyelashes before you wear them.

8. Toss unused mascara after 3 months.

9. Don’t apply mascara sitting in a moving vehicle.

10. Avoid infections. Don’t share your mascara!

11. Don’t churn mascara around in the vial, it brings in more air to dry out the formula.

12. Remove mascara before bedtime to prevent lashes from drying out and breaking.

13. Keep smudges minimal by first lightly wiping mascara wand with tissue when you remove it from the vial. Wait a few seconds between coats. And reapply as desired. Also look for a mascara wand with ridges rather than bristles.

Blush Tips:

1. Apply lightly in sheer layers to get the amount of color you want.

2. Invest in a big fluffy blush brush for a soft, even blush of color

3. Don’t clash. Co-ordinate blusher with lipcolor and your outfit.

4. Use a medium to dark beige tone for emphasizing cheekbones.

5. Stay clear of creme blush if your skin is oily.

6. In a rush? Get lipcolor and blush with an all-purpose two-in-one crayon for both.

7. Apply blush after powder for smooth, even look with no streaking.

8. Choose soft natural pinks, beiges and peaches for day, go brighter at night.

9. Glow Without Blushing. When you just want to add warmth to the skin instead of a standard blush color like rose, peach or plum, use a light to medium bronzing powder in place of blush.

10. Wash brush frequently with soap and water.
