India’s latest Cricket find, Vijay Raghavendra Rao Bharadwaj, born on August 15, 1975, is a bashful, humble, innocent boy of Basavanagudi in South Bangalore. He was never obsessed with playing for the country.

In the recent four-nation LG Cup Cricket tournament in Nairobi, the debutant Bharadwaj was adjudged man of series. He displayed a remarkable temperament and mastery of the game. He was primarly responsible for powering India into the final.
