Come April 17th this year, and Kannada Film
Industry's famous star Ravichandran is unveiling his plans for what he calls "for the
new millennium". The day is of great significance for Ravichandran as that was the
day on which his late father and his inspiration Late N.Veeraswamy was born. "What
better way to pay tributes to a great visionary, dreamer and courageous person than
starting all the institutions that I have built for the Industry on the day on which he
was born", says Ravichandran. On that day Ravichandran has made plans for
inauguration of Eswari DTS Studio and Eswari Recording Studio, which has virtually taken
sweat out of him. "It is since a week that I have slept. I am completely focussed on
my programmes of April 17. I will also be meeting the Technical people connected to DTS
Studio in another one hour" said Ravichandran a week ago. Alongside thee preparation
shooting rehearsals were going on for "Preetsona Baa" which will see his brother
Balaji making a debut in the Industry. Ravichandran has written the story and screenplay
of this film, besides composing music and involving himself in Direction. On the same day
evening, Ravichandran has arranged for the release of Audio Cassette of "Oh, Nanna
Nalle" which will be released by the Eswari Audio. Ravichandran is now reviving
Eswari Audio which was started by him earlier, and which was in limbo after some time.
" I have always maintained that my father was a dreamer and
had the courageous ability to take risks. But for his courage, I would not have been what
I am today. That is because he backed me entirely while directing "Prema Loka",

never cared for the mounting expenses while making
the film. He had courage and confidence to back a good project even if it were to be with
a new comer. Vishnuvardhan was also introduced with a film of Eswari Banner. ("Nagara
Haavu"). Similarly, it was my father who made "Chakravyuha" with Ambareesh
without bothering about the production expenses involved. He was a real godfather of this
Industry and many disputes among the people of the industry were settled in his office
chamber. My father's words were always considered with respect and obedience by the
Industry people. Therefore, it is in the fitness of things that I am launching all the
major projects of my father on April 17" says Ravichandran.
Ravichandran also said that his father was a self made man and rose to become one of the
biggest producers in the country. "He had produced films in Kannada, Tamil and Hindi
with Superstars like Dr. Raj Kumar, Rajnikanth, Amithabh Bachchan and Shivaji Ganeshan. He
started his life as an ordinary office boy and with sheer determination and hard work
achieved unparalleled success. He faced failures, but had never lost his confidence and
courage" said Ravichandran.
