Simplification/streamlining of rules and regulations and Transparent Administration

• Simplification of procedure and delegation of powers to the field officers is proposed. This would be a continuous exercise. To familiarize those concerned with procedural requirements intensive awareness camps would be conducted.
• To the extent permissible under Law, a common format will be designed in respect of returns to be filed by the industrial units under various labor legislation. This will reduce the paper work to certain extent. Periodicity of filing of various returns to the respective agencies will also be made uniform and less frequent. Inspections under various Acts/Rules will be only on random basis and/ or based on specific complaints of defaults.
• Single point follow-up: the general Manager, DIC would be made the nodal agency to follow up the cases with different organizations.
• Execution of Lease Agreement/Sale Agreement by KIADB/ KSSIDC/KEONICS: the procedure of execution of documents in respect of industrial plots allotted by KIADB/KSSIDC/KEONICS, and the sheds allotted by the KSSIDC would be simplifies, i.e., powers will be delegated to the district/zonal offices.
• HIPPOCCI headed by Chief Secretary would be abolished and power sanctions to existing/new industries would be accorded by Single Window Agency/High level committee as applicable.
