Thrust for Growth in the Export of Value Added Goods

All export oriented industries with a minimum export turnover of 25% of the total turnover, will be classified as Thrust secto4r industries eligible for special scale of incentives. Additional subsidy is made available only for 100% EOUs. The following proposals are being implemented to boost the exports.

  • KIADB will complete the EPIP project near Whitefield, Bangalore, within the next 18 months.
  • KSIIDC will take up implementation of the EPIP project near mangalore along with an Air Cargo Complex near Mangalore Airport.
  • A permanent Exhibition Comple nar Bangalore will be established in association with ITPO/industry.
  • MSIL/VITC will provide market intelligence and other assistence to EOUs.
  • For Export Oriented Industries in the SSI Sector q wcheme of Market Development Assistance will be formulated to provide financial assistance through VITC for developing export markets.
  • An exclusive 'Export wing' will be set up in KSIMC to help SSI sector to develop export markets.
  • A network of container feed stations will be established to facilitate rapid and safe transportation of export cargo.
