Though Gopichand may not have risen to the dizzy heights to which Prakash ascended by winning the All-England and World Badminton Championships, Gopichand is the flag bearer of the Indian men's badminton in the 20th Century. The current national champion, Gopichand has also won the Saarc gold medal and achieved a career best world
