"Though making it good at the senior level is no easy task, I am training hard to

job is a good two years away. In another two or three years I should be able to make it to
the big league," she said. Hailing from Dakshina Kannada region she is a talent
spotted initially from the Deccan Athletic Club's weekend athletics meet and is now
training under V.R. Beedu. She has had a coaching stint under coach Rai before she
switched over to train under Beedu as the former had to move over due to transfer.
"I have very encouraging parents, which is going to help me go a long way with my
sport," she said. Apart from having encouraging parents she said, "I have an
excellent coach, who provides very good training programmes." So she sees a bright
future ahead of her under the able supervision of her coach Beedu.
