Eviction of a
tenant from his premises:
As per Section 12(1) of the Act, if the tenant pays, or is ready and willing to pay the
amount of standard rent and permitted increases, if any and if he observes and performs
the other conditions of tenancy, the landlord has no right to recover the possession of
the premises rented out to the tenant.
