As per Section 14(1) of the Act, when the interest of a tenant in any premises is
terminated or determined for any reason, any sub-tenant to whom the premises, or any part
of it is sub-let before 1.2.1973, will become a tenant of the landlord on the same terms
and conditions as he would have held from the tenant, had the tenancy continued.
As per Section 14(2) of the Act, when the interest of a licenser, who is deemed to be a
tenant by Section 15A, is terminated or determined for any reason, he shall become the
tenant of the landlord on the same terms and conditions of the agreement in accordance
with the provisions of this Act.
